The Magnolia Economic Development Corporation exists to undertake economic development projects and programs for the Magnolia region in order to stimulate our local economy and to create new private sector jobs.

To accomplish this we work in the following ways:

1. Work closely with our existing primary employers;
2. Work aggressively with the Arkansas Economic Development Commission and regional economic development partners to attract new employers into the area;
3. Be a catalyst for positive, community-led improvements to make our city and county as attractive as possible;
4. Form beneficial workforce partnerships with our schools, Southern Arkansas University and SAU Tech; and
5. Offer attractive and flexible local incentive packages to compliment state and/or federal incentives that may be available.
